What's your favourite meal? For me, it's hard to beat a good brunch! Here are my three favourite brunching spots in Chiswick:
Angie's
Ahhhh, this is my favourite place - you take a step inside this little oasis of deliciousness, and life feels better. Angie's all-day brunch menu offers a fresh, exciting take on the traditional offering. Their creamed mushrooms are a thing of joy! Angie's takeaway salads are also a Whitman lunch fave, and maybe a slice of their homemade cake - well, it would be rude not to...
Betty's
The new kid on the block is proving a hit. The small plates and cocktails in the evening were a treat, so I wanted to try their brunch, and it didn't disappoint. I couldn't resist the fabulously named 'Filthy Avo' and boy did it deliver - whipped feta, blistered tomato, poached eggs and dukkah on a smashed avocado sourdough toast, piled high with herbs - dreamy! And for those of you in a rush, they also offer a fab express deal: £6 for a hot drink and filled bap/croissant for takeaway or eat in. If you haven't given Bettys a try for night or day dining - book a table you won't regret it!
Highroad House
The longstanding Chiswick brunch spot remains in the top 3 because it always feels good to step away from the High Road bustle and watch the world go by from the Brasserie terrace. The Brasseries cold-pressed juices will set you up for the day, and if your day is calling for something more substantial, give their 'Breakfast martini' a try - it has marmalade in it; genuinely breakfasty!
