If you are feeling mince pied and Christmas movied out (if there is such a thing?!) and fancy a stomp in the fresh air, head to Grove Park at dusk (Burnaby Gardens-Whitehall Gardens grid) and discover the advent windows. Every day in December a house in Grove Park has lit up their window with the corresponding date.Head down on Christmas Eve and see if you can find all 24 creative windows! There are some clues on Grove Park Advent Windows facebook page. It's a great fun family activity.
This is the second year that the windows have lit up in Grove Park at Christmas, maybe next year you could make this a Christmas tradition in your community?
